Betty Olayinka Folarin-Akinlosotu, widely known as BOFA, is a passionate and experienced African American Health Professional. She is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Culinary Artist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Born in Nigeria, Betty relocated to the United States two decades ago, bringing with her diverse professional experience from the U.S. education and healthcare sectors (both paid and volunteer roles). Her Core Mission: To foster a more peaceful and healthier world by empowering individuals within her community to build healthy, happy, thriving, and emotionally secure lives. Her Advocacy: BOFA champions the belief that understanding how food supports health is accessible to everyone—you don't need an RD, RN, or MD to achieve deep wellness. Her practice is built on the holistic concept of wellness, recognizing that quality of life is determined not just by diet, but also by: • Mind & Spirit • Environment & Community • Emotions & Finances • Career (the work we do) When focusing on nutrition, Betty is confident in the individual's ability to create and sustain a healthy diet that leads to a healthy, beautiful body and a fulfilled life.
